Last weekend in Los Angeles hundreds of celebrities and their families showed their support for the battle against AIDS last Sunday in Los Angeles.
Games, sandwich and a lot of fun to raise money for the research and to prevent spread of HIV.
This great initiative was organized by Disney, along with The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and the Hollywood star system came out
with their family to support the good cause.
Dance4Life loves that kind of events!
In the V.I.P. we recognized: Sharon Stone, with sons Laird and Quinn, Heidi Klum, David Charvet and daughter Heaven Rain, Joe Pesci and many more!
The day was topped off with a concert by teen sensation Miley Cyrus and her band.
Well done west coast, from the other side of the ocean we support you in
your quest to create a generation free of HIV.
At the end of that busy week, here at Dance4Life we realized we didn't had the chance to congratulate with the British's got Talent winners. The challenge was won by the Diversity dancers which includes three sets of brothers and are a multi-ethnic group (they could represent us perfectly!) Global phenomenon, Susan Boyle, (or SuBo!) not winning left us quite surprised... but at the end we prefer dancing than singing.... !! So... well done guys! HERE IS THEIR GREAT FINAL VIDEO Unfortunately our favorite, the cute kid, who had street-dancing ability beyond his years, Aiden Davis, didn't make the top 3, but we are sure about his future success! Now guys, we wish you all a great dancing weekend, we will return on Monday! Dance4life![]()
After the great success of Dance4Life School and College Tour 2008 and the exiting planning for the 2009 tour, we were thinking about organizing something in between! So a great idea came up to our mind... we are trying to be included in the London Summer Universities programs. Many summer program and social activities will be offered throughout all the London Universities, from sports, film, media, arts, fashion, music and we want to be involved! We will be involving a kind of training workshop where using musicians, dancers, videos, peer educators and the inspiring stories of young people living with HIV/AIDS the Tour Team were able to motivate the youth in a funky and breathtaking way. We will provide life-saving information about the HIV virus and how it is transmitted; about the spread of HIV on both a local and a global scale; and about the powerful social consequences that stigma and discrimination have on the spread of the virus. Everything of course is free of charge!! Participation in the Dance4Life Schools Project will make students more socially aware, global citizens.Sounds interesting? Recommend us to your University and you've already done a big step to fighting hiv. Dance in the summer with us, Dance4Life
Tiesto has announced his only concert in the UK just a few days ago! Our fabulous ambassador finally returns to London with an outdoor spectacular concert in Victoria park this summer on 31 July 2009. Voted the number 1 DJ in the world by Mixmag. Headlining Coachella and Bonnaroo, and producing music and performing for the 2004 Olympics. Remixing everyone from Britney Spears, The Killers, Justin Timberlake, Jose Gonzalez to Calvin Harris. Selling out a 150 date world tour. Collecting awards and nominations from the Grammy¹s and MTV Music Awards. Getting a wax statue at Madame Tussauds. And now Tiësto is the first DJ ever to have his own open air concert in Victoria Park, where he will also be previewing brand new tracks from his upcoming artist album. The event, on 31 July 2009, promises to once again be massive, with the spacious park opening up its doors to thousands of Tiesto fans ready to party to the world¹s premiere trance DJ. Here at Dance4Life we are all looking forward to dancing like mad on that special day!
The romantic film “Dirty Dancing” has topped our online poll today as Britain’s favourite dance film!
Now we are all happy about the final score as until yesterday everyone here at Dance4Life had different point of views about which film deserved the title…
Dirty Dancing in 1987 was a surprise box-office hit, the soundtrack album was an even bigger success, and nowadays its popularity is continuing to grow.
The unforgettable soundtrack is fantastic, an absolute masterpiece, and we all love a good boogie to it here at Dance4Life.
There are quite a few highly recognizable songs making this soundtrack one of the easiest to sing and to dance along with!
So, well done “Dirty Dancing” the Dance4Life best dance film prize is yours!
We love dancing, we love Dance4Life.
Yestarday here at Dance4Life we were discussing if Aidan Davis will beat Susan Boyle in Britain's Got Talent - we can't wait for the final! We were also talking about Cannes film festival which is on right now in France; As well as dancing we have a huge passion for dance films. There are several famous titles we all love and we love sharing our favourite's and advising each other about some little known dance films. But at the end of the day our main question was: which film deserves the best dance film prize? So we decided to do a poll! Please vote now, and the result we be online the last day of the Croisette competition.
We love dancing, we love Dance4Life!
An 11 year old from Birmingham caught our attention on Saturday night on Britain’s got Talent.
His name is Aidan Davis and like us, here a Dance4Life, he has a strong passion for dance.
We can all agree that he is an amazing breakdancer – especially as he has never had dance lessons in his life!
Have a look at his performance on YouTube – he is cute, funny and so, so talented.
Here at Dance4Life we really wish to find lots of young people like him to get involved with our 2009 schools tour!!
So if you be involved in a dynamic way and if you love dancing like Aidan and us, register your self and your school here!
Our tour includes music, dance, HIV information and the opportunity for students to interact directly with someone living with HIV.
Lets take action and make the change happen!
We love dancing, we love Dance4Life.
We are really glad to announce the new Dance4Life ambassador.
He is from Germany and he arrived onto the electronic and dance scene in 1996 with his first single “Drop the Gun”…
Do you need a second clue?
He gained international success through his smash hit ‘Pump up the Jam’ that went to number 22 when re-released in the UK singles chart in 2005. This single was voted 2nd best ‘tune of the year 2005’ as voted by mixmag.
I am sure you get it now…
Welcomes aboard D.O.N.S. !!
He will support Dance4Life as Judge Jules, Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto and Paul van Dyk.
