Stop Aids, Dance4Life

Hello everyone.

Goodness the snow is still here! We made the most enormous snowman yesterday, it was really great! We got some face paint and wrote “Dance4Life” on his belly and it looked amazing. Hopefully everybody walking past who saw it got the message – start dancing stop AIDs!

We would love to hear from you guys if you have any inventive ways of getting our message across; if they are really good, perhaps we will use them ourselves!

Remember anyone can help out with this great cause – just register (for free!) on the Dance4Life website now!

{January 16, 2009}   More about Dance4life

Hey there everyone!

We’ve been blogging lots lately about all the fun we have at Dance4life (Like great music from wordclass D.J’s such as Teisto, Paul Van Dyk and Tim Westwood, as well as fun videos and games) but it is important to remember the important reasons behind all of this!

Millions of people around the world are living with HIV or AIDS. According to the statistics published by UNIADS/ WHO in November 2007, 33.2 Million people are estimated to live with HIV and AIDS. Young people (under 25 years olf) account for half of all new infections worlwide. Young people and those living in countries in the Global South are most affected.

Support them by supporting Dance4Life. Give young people the opportunity to have control over HIV, and not the other way round.
If you want to support Dance4Life, then we want it to be as easy as possible. Just register with us, and you will get access to lots of materials to help you: logos, poster, flyers, Dance4Life HIV fact sheet, banners, Dance4Life leaflet, stickers, sponsorship form, press release, clips and more. We’ll even put details of what you’re doing on this website!

{January 2, 2009}   2009 is here!

Hello everyone!

We hope your Christmas and New Year’s eve were amazing!

Don’t forget to check in to the Dance4Life website throughout January to get all the lastest news from the Dance4life crew!

All the best for 2009

{December 31, 2008}   Happy New Year Everyone!

Happy New Year!

2008 has been a great one for Dance4Life!

We’ve had much success with our Schools Project helping young people learn more about HIV and AIDS in a fun and interactive way. It is possibly the most important part of Dance4Life! Every participating country organises the Schools Project, which is made up of four parts: a visit by the Dance4Life Tour Team, creating Agents of Change, life-skills programmes, and the Dance4Life BIG Event.

And Dance4Life Event was a HUGE success too! So thank you everyone who was involved there!!

We look forward to doing even more amazing things next year and making 2009 a very special year.

{December 28, 2008}   Hope you had a good Christmas!

We had loads of fun and hope you did too! We did so much dancing and all did The Drill on Christmas Day!! Lots of fun!

Now we are looking forward to New Years Eve – Lots of Dancing to be done then! Here we are all going out in our Danc4Life T-shirts we got at the Dance4Life event. This way we hope, as Agents of Change we will spread the word that we are fighting HIV and AIDS!!

If you attended the event, do something amazing and wear yours too on NYE!! Only with postive messages like this can we hope to start beating HIV and AIDs all over the world!

{December 25, 2008}   Merry Christmas

Its the big day so merry christmas everyone!

If you are running out of things to do you can always have some family fun playing the Dance4Life Game!

And enjoy the rest of your day everyone! Eat, drink and be merry – and be sure to Dance4Life!

{December 22, 2008}   Merry Christmas to all

Hello everyone! Dance4Life hopes you all had a lovely weekend (with lots of dancing!) and are looking forward to Christmas this week!

Remember it’s not too late to give a really amazing Christmas present this year – a donation to the Dance4Life charity and help fight HIV and AIDs. We really hope everyone has an amzing Christmas but want to take a minute to think about all the people around the world who certainly won’t because of HIV and AIDs. Let’s make 2009 a breakthrough year towards beating HIV and AIDS.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Love Dance4Life x x x
