Dance 4 Life On The Road

{June 16, 2009}   Sharing the voice
Refugee Week is a UK wide programme of events which celebrates the contribution of refugees to the UK.

During this special week, hundreds of events exploring refugee experiences take place across the UK.

These range from small community and school activities to art exhibitions,
political debates, film screenings, conferences, big music festivals, sports events etc...

We here at Dance4Life decided to get involved on Sunday the 14th at the South Bank side of London -
We loved their slogan "Different pasts, shared future" and during this sunny day we had loads of fun supporting the initiative.
It was a great way to spread an unique voice all together for human rights and for a better world.

Start Dancing, Dance4Life

Last weekend in Los Angeles hundreds of celebrities and their families showed their support for the battle against AIDS last Sunday in Los Angeles.

Games, sandwich and a lot of fun to raise money for the research and to prevent spread of HIV.

This great initiative was organized by Disney, along with The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and the Hollywood star system came out
with their family to support the good cause.

Dance4Life loves that kind of events!

In the V.I.P. we recognized: Sharon Stone, with sons Laird and Quinn, Heidi Klum, David Charvet and daughter Heaven Rain, Joe Pesci and many more!
The day was topped off with a concert by teen sensation Miley Cyrus and her band.

Well done west coast, from the other side of the ocean we support you in
your quest to create a generation free of HIV.

{June 5, 2009}   We Do Have Talent
At the end of that busy week, here at Dance4Life we realized we didn't had the chance
to congratulate with the British's got Talent winners.

The challenge was won by the Diversity dancers which includes three sets of brothers and are a multi-ethnic group
(they could represent us perfectly!)

Global phenomenon, Susan Boyle, (or SuBo!) not winning left us quite surprised... but at the end we
prefer dancing than singing.... !!
So... well done guys!

HERE IS THEIR GREAT FINAL VIDEO

Unfortunately our favorite, the cute kid, who had street-dancing ability beyond his years,
Aiden Davis, didn't make the top 3, but we are sure about his future success!

Now guys, we wish you all a great dancing weekend, we will return on Monday!

{May 19, 2009}   We have the same passion!

An 11 year old from Birmingham caught our attention on Saturday night on Britain’s got Talent.

His name is Aidan Davis and like us, here a Dance4Life, he has a strong passion for dance.
We can all agree that he is an amazing breakdancer – especially as he has never had dance lessons in his life!

Have a look at his performance on YouTube  – he is cute, funny and so, so talented.

Here at Dance4Life we really wish to find lots of young people like him to get involved with our 2009 schools tour!!

So if you be involved in a dynamic way and if you love dancing like Aidan and us, register your self and your school here!

Our tour includes music, dance, HIV information and the opportunity for students to interact directly with someone living with HIV.

Lets take action and make the change happen!

We love dancing, we love Dance4Life.

{April 17, 2009}   Our favourite game

The game is loads of fun and u can chose 3 different sountracks:

{February 13, 2009}   What you doing?

Hello there everyone!

Another weekend approaches and some fairly significant dates!

Seeing as it is Friday the 13th and we have more snow on the way, Dance4Life hopes you takes it easy today!

It is of course Valentines day as well, so love is in the air! Whilst we do love a bit of romance (of course!) one of the focal points of the Dance4Life Schools Project is raising awareness for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights amoung today’s youth. – So if you are lucky enough to be sharing your Valentines Day with someone special, remember to be an Agent of Change you have to be aware of these issues and practice safe sex!

Have a great weekend everyone! Love Dance4Life
